Dear fellow families,
We regret to inform you that limited visitation will be on hold until March 23rd, unless otherwise notified. One resident that has been sent out to the hospital has tested positive for Covid-19. New York State Department of Health requires us to halt limited visitation for 14 days from the last date of exposure.
Please note that the affected family was notified individually. As a precaution, all residents on the affected unit are being monitored very closely. The affected unit has been placed on isolation for 14 days. All of our residents will now be tested every 3-7 days for 14 days. We continue staying in close contact with New York State Department of Health and inform them of what’s going on at the facility to ensure that our residents and staff are safe.
Please note, we will continue to have virtual visits via our Recreation department and our whole compliment of staff is willing to help you out with any questions or concerns any of you might have. We encourage families to send care packages for their loved ones that include a photo of the sender to be used at a memory prompt. We ask families to send video messages that can be replayed.
